Two groups from the San Francisco District are participating in World Youth Day, held this year in Madrid, Spain, from August 16th to the 21st. Brother Christopher Patiño and Postulants Roberto Martinez and Patrick Martin joined students from Cathedral High School in Los Angeles, while Brother Fortunat Phong escorted a large group from the Vietnamese Lasallian community in San Jose.
Held every three years in a different city, World Youth Day is a gathering of young people from around the globe to confirm and strengthen their faith. The highlight of their experience is a meeting with the Pope.
