Nearly one hundred Brothers from the New Orleans-Santa Fe and San Francisco Districts will gather at Mater Dolorosa Retreat House in Sierra Madre for a retreat beginning on June 19th and closing on June 24th.
Brother Michael French, FSC, of the Midwest District will be the keynote speaker and facilitator for this event, which will conclude the first year of the Called to Be Brothers program. The first year’s theme of Consecrated to the Blessed Trinity will provide the context for fraternal interaction, personal reflection, prayer, and dialogue.
Called To Be Brothers was designed as a two-year formation activity for the entire USA-Toronto Region. Its purpose was to re-energize Brothers in their vocations by building on the 44th General Chapter’s emphasis on the interior life of Brothers, community, and their willingness to welcome and accompany new members to the Institute.
