ASSEMBLY ON MISSION
COMMITTEES June 5, 2002
The
District Assembly Preparatory Committee met on Monday, June 3rd to finalize
committee nominations for the upcoming assembly. The nomination process
included consideration of each delegate's committee preferences and balancing
the committees with approximately the same number of delegates, with representation
from each school/apostolate, with Brothers and Partners, and with men
and women. In some instances, the Preparatory Committee nominated a delegate
to a committee that might not have been their indicated preference, but
one on which t
he
delegate's perspective or expertise was needed. Final approval of committee
membership will occur at the General Assembly held at the beginning of
the event in July. Please contact Brother Stanislaus Campbell, FSC, Preparatory

committee assignments. More detailed information about committee membership
and the nomination process was sent to delegates by letter on June 5,
