Approximately 80 miles northeast of Fresno, CA, Camp La Salle is located near the town of Lakeshore at Huntington Lake. Nestled amid pines at the 7,000 foot level on the boundary of the Kaiser Wilderness area of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the camp is a short hike away from spectacular lakes, breathtaking waterfalls and mountain meadows filled with wildflowers during summer and snow during winter.

Leased in 1954, the camp become home to many De La Salle Brothers as a summer resort where they could take a break together before heading back into their work in the schools. Eventually, the Brothers began sharing the summer months at the camp with their families and the families of men and women working in the many schools and educational works on the West Coast. Annual brochures are distributed to the schools promoting use of the camp from mid-June to late August.
