Position: Vice President for Development

Saint Mary's College invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice President for Development. As the chief advancement officer of the College, the Vice President for Development provides strategic and operational leadership, vision, direction, and oversight of the College’s development and fundraising efforts. The Vice President for Development reports directly to the President of the College, and serves as a senior College officer and member of the President’s Cabinet

The Vice president of Development is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and securing private philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and private foundations. Saint Mary's is in the planning stages of a major College-wide comprehensive campaign, and the Vice President for Development will have responsibility for overseeing the campaign and ensuring its successful completion. The campaign will be by far the largest fundraising effort ever undertaken by the College and will have major facilities, endowment, and current use components.
