Sister Ann Marie Lustig, OP, is AFSC. Sister Ann Marie Lustig has been honored by the De La Salle Christian Brothers by being officially named an Affiliated Member of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. The Lasallian Community in Yakima and the Provincialate Community in Napa teamed together to bring her name forward for this honor, in recognition of her decades of effort in advancing the Lasallian education of youth in the District of San Francisco, at Garces High School in Bakersfield, La Salle Catholic College Preparatory in Milwaukie, La Salle High School in Pasadena, the Christian Brothers Retreat House, and, currently, La Salle High School of Yakima. Her congregation of Sisters, the Tacoma Dominicans, has generously supported her through these many years of dedicated Lasallian service.
There will be two ceremonies marking her Affiliation, the first on Saturday November 15 at La Salle High School, Yakima, and the second on Saturday May 9, 2009, at Mont La Salle in Napa.
Sister Ann Marie has asked that, in lieu of gifts, donations be made to La Salle High School of Yakima (designated for the Campus Ministry Program).
Messages and congratulations can be sent to Sister Ann Marie Lustig at La Salle High School, 3000 Lightning Way, Union Gap, WA 98903 or at sam@lasalleyakima.org.
