Heidi Harrison has been named Vice Principal for Curriculum and Instruction at Justin-Siena High School in Napa. According to the search committee, her education and experience made her an ideal match for the position and a unanimous choice.
For the past 11 years, Ms. Harrison has served on the faculty of Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, a Lasallian school in San Francisco. There, she taught religious studies in addition to working with curriculum and assessment development projects and coordinating the WASC self study and the Catholic Lasallian Vincentian Assessment Process (CLVASP). She also has been actively involved in the implementation of Sacred Heart’s strategic plan.
Ms. Harrison holds a master’s degree in theological studies from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley, a bachelor’s degree in political science from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Catholic Educational Leadership at the University of San Francisco. In 2005, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory honored her with the Lasallian Educator Award.
Ms. Harrison begins her position in the 2011-2012 school year.
