The School
Justin-Siena High School is a Catholic, college-preparatory co-educational high school which serves approximately 650 students in grades 9–12. The Corporate Internship Program (CIP) of San Miguel High School (SMHS) in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a highly motivated, mission-driven individual for the position of Assistant Director.

The Assistant Director will support the Director in all aspects of administering the Corporate Internship Program, including:

  • The procuring of internship positions for our students,
  • Coordination of initial and ongoing CIP training for new and returning students,
  • Coordinating the transportation of student interns to and from work,
  • Maintaining Strong Sponsor/Employer Relations, and
  • Coordinating evaluation of student performance.

Position Description
The President is the chief executive officer, visionary leader and primary spokesperson in articulating the school's Lasallian mission to the students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, Archdiocesan leaders and the broader community. The President is responsible for building positive relationships within the school community. The President has overall management responsibility and leads the development, implementation and monitoring of programs that support and promote the school's mission.

The President shall be responsible for the sound fiscal management of the school, including raising the necessary funds for capital improvements, curricular and co-curricular programs. The President shall establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with the Board of Trustees in the formulation of annual and long-term educational and financial goals and for a development program that supports these goals. The President shall develop, for approval by the Board of Trustees, an annual operational budget, as well as a long-term strategic plan. The President shall maintain and enhance a professional environment in which faculty and administrative staff interact to discuss and resolve academic and operational issues.

Professional Qualifications Required

  •  Experience in a Lasallian secondary school or willingness to participate in Lasallian educational leadership programs.
  •  Master's degree in education/administration.
  •  Administrative experience.
  •  Minimum of five years teaching experience.

Skills Desired

  •  Providing effective leadership to a management team.
  •  Developed verbal and written communication skills.
  •  Fundraising ability.
  •  Working knowledge of financial statements and sound business practices.
  •  Proven leadership in education; preferably with knowledge of local, state and
     federal laws and programs that affect private education in New York.
