In 1999-2000, the seven Districts of the United States/Toronto Region are responsible for nearly 100 ministries, including:

  • 9 junior/senior high schools

  • 5 group homes
  • 3 retreat centers
  • 8 alternative programs*
Over 60,000 students, more than half of them Catholic, are served in Lasallian institutions
in the region by 1,010 Brothers and 2,800 Partners.

In 2001, De La Salle Christian Brothers worldwide totaled 6,522. Brothers worked with over 65,000 Partners and 800,000 students in 1,081 educational institutions in 87 countries on six continents.
