Stage 2: Aspirancy Program
Length: 1 to 3 years
Age: College Junior or older

Initial stage of the formation program:
Open to exploring the possibility of entering the Postulancy
Lives at home, college, or in a Brothers’ community

An Aspirant:

• Develops his prayer life as a practicing Catholic
• Meets with the Director of Vocation Ministry at least once a month
• Makes at least one visit of several days to the Formation Community

An Aspirant participates in activities designed to help him further develop his knowledge and experience of the Brothers’ life of Faith, Service and Community, such as:

• Gathering with other aspirants once a semester for a weekend of prayer and discussion
• Working and living for a week or summer with the Brothers in one of their educational works
• Joining the Brothers in District and community celebrations
