
Superior General Brother Álvaro Rodriguez Echeverria completed his month-long visit to the United States-Toronto Region and the San Francisco District on April 28th and 29th with his visit to San Miguel High School in Tucson, Arizona. He was accompanied by Brother Robert Schieler, General Councilor of the Institute for the United States-Toronto District, and Brother Stanislaus Campbell, Visitor of the San Francisco District. At San Miguel, Brother Álvaro met with staff and students, toured the campus, and attended a student body mass celebrated by Bishop Gerald Kicanas.
During his sojourn in the San Francisco District, Brother Álvaro visited schools, met with leadership, joined in the Holy Week Retreat, spent time with the novices of the Regional Novitiate, and met with other planning bodies of the District. Following the Tucson stay, Br. Álvaro continued on to Bogotá, Columbia, for a meeting of the Visitors of RELAL (Latin America Region).
